What Are Body Treatments?

Body treatments focus on caring for and revitalizing the skin and connective tissue of the body. These treatments include salt scrubs, mud wraps, and targeted therapies to hydrate and reduce inflammation. They can also be customized with essential oils and blends for added benefits.

A body salt scrub is a gentle exfoliating treatment that polishes the skin using fine salt granules. This soothing and invigorating experience helps to remove dead skin cells and leaves the body feeling refreshed. The scrub is applied to areas such as the shoulders, back, legs, and feet. Warm towels are used to enhance the relaxing sensation. This process also improves circulation and provides a boost of energy to the body. After the scrub, a body mud wrap is applied to deeply nourish the skin.

During a body mud wrap, the body is wrapped in sheets infused with mud, clay, seaweed, anti-aging creams, essential oils, or similar materials. This treatment provides essential nutrients that are often lacking in our daily lives. The wrap is left on for approximately 20 minutes, allowing the ingredients to work their magic. It is then removed using warm towels.

To complete the body treatment, a moisturizing body oil is applied all over the body. This helps to seal in the benefits of the treatment and leaves the skin feeling hydrated and nourished.

What Are The Benefits Of Body Treatments?

There are numerous benefits associated with body treatments. Firstly, they provide essential nourishment to the body by restoring vital minerals. Additionally, these treatments have anti-aging effects, such as reducing inflammation, hyperpigmentation, and bruising. Moreover, they can enhance the firmness of the body's skin, which is desirable for improved mobility and a reduced risk of injuries during movement and exercise. For an enhanced experience, it is recommended to follow the body treatment with an aromatherapy massage.

How Often Is A Body Treatment Recommended?

Ideally, a body treatment is recommended once a month, particularly if you are combining it with an hour-long massage. Alternatively, scheduling a body treatment every three months is also a great option to consider.
